Fresh Raspberries

This past weekend, we went up to the lake where I basically grew up.

You're jealous, aren't you?

When I was growing up, summers were the time to go out and pick fresh berries. Apparently that isn't common when you grow up in the city, as my husband had never picked berries before.

So, my mom, husband, and I drove even further into the country to a berry farm and picked some gorgeous fresh raspberries.

Aren't they purdy?

Wow! We have a raspberry plant in the back yard, but didnt have many berries on it this year. What are you going to do with all of those berries?

Jealous, yes. Curious, absolutely! I'm looking forward to seeing how you use those beautiful berries!

Oh boy, those are mouth-watering. I have about a million blueberries that we picked earlier this month. I wish I could trade them for some raspberries! Eat some extra for me please :)

They're gorgeous. So what are you going to do with them? I'd eat 'em straight out of the pail by the fist-full..
